About
The Fatigue Design Congress is a leading international scientific event dedicated to advancements in the field of material and structural fatigue.
It has been organized biennially since 2005 by Cetim, with the support of its regional, national, and international partners.
The ambition of Fatigue Design is to bring together experts from around the world, from industry, academic research, and certification bodies.
It promotes the exchange of knowledge and practices on design and engineering methods that optimize the durability of mechanical structures against fatigue.
During the two-day congress, participants share and learn about a wide range of topics, including: fatigue under severe environmental conditions (H2, corrosion, low temperature,…), fatigue of assemblies, fatigue life extension and residual life assessment…
Each edition highlights a specific geographical area. This gives experts from the featured country or countries the opportunity to present a significant number of talks.
At the end of the first day of conferences, participants gather for a gala dinner organized in a prestigious location near Senlis.
Finally, throughout the congress, around fifteen exhibitors welcome participants at their booths during breaks and lunch.
